Play Silks are an excellent open ended play material for children. The smooth texture and the soothing colours enriches the experience of play multifold. Play silks are almost always found in Waldorf kindergartens and is used by children in their play.
Silks need to be handled gently and cared for. Adult supervision is required in the initial days of usage. Children learn beautifully by imitation. Show them how the silks are to be handled gently and you’ll be amazed at how they do just the same within a few days.
